    Senior (UX) Design Reviewer

    Job Description

    Senior (UX) Design Reviewer:
Join Philips Experience Design, one of the most respected in-house design groups in the world, and shape experiences to improve the lives of millions every day.

    Your role:

    • Conduct (UX) design reviews with project teams from across Philips to provide constructive, applicable, and impactful recommendations on improving the design quality, safety and total user experience of their solutions.
    • Recognise, innovate, and make improvements in a constructive and supportive manner using your design skills to accelerate change through the act of making and empirical design as appropriate.
    • Provide "bar raising" design interventions via design sprints, workshop facilitation, or other interventions that increase quality and deliver impact and value to our design teams.
    • Educate and support teams with applying, upholding and elevating safety, quality, user centricity, and Philips brand standards. Guide them with applying efficient ways of working, such as the adoption of design systems, tools, design, research methods, human factors, and brand/design guidelines.
    • Communicate effectively and build partnership with teams and (senior) stakeholders regarding the design reviews and subsequent recommendations and improvement areas.

    You're the right fit if:

    • You are a Senior UX Designer (+10 years of relevant work experience) proficient in user centred design; design thinking; walking backwards from the customer; design processes; product development; (UX/SW) prototype building.
    • You are adept at providing teams with clear and actionable feedback and improvement points with tact and respect. You collaborate, listen and learn from others, and you are open to alternative perspectives and ideas, as well as have the strength to respectfully voice your opinion.
    • Are able to refer to and apply regulations, standards, (UX) heuristics, SW design tools and human factors methods as necessary. You may also have (educational) background or natural interest in human factors, psychology and/or user research.
    • You have experience working in a regulated product development environment, e.g., healthcare, aviation, industry, transport, etc.
    • You can observe, listen, and understand / empathise with the issues people experience and translate these into clear product requirements and design objectives.
    • You can deal with ambiguity, and be comfortable to propose recommendations, improvement directions, ideas or solutions without having all information. You act with integrity and professional persistence to uphold the strategy, purpose of the company, and the needs of our users.
