Job summary
The Quality Engineer collaborates with other internal teams to drive process standardization/best practice, waste elimination, cost reduction, risk reduction, and continual performance improvement primarily encompassing our internal Supply Chain Cross Functional Operations Teams. This position will have a good understanding of an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, along with the ability to effectively apply and teach Quality principles and advanced concepts in a challenging and diverse work environment.Responsibilities
- Establishes working relationships with stakeholders and builds rapport to become a trusted advisor.
- Support the pre-launch phase of the programs or projects to ensure all the essential customer requirements are documented and controlled.
- Develop and manage an effective PFMEA and Control Plan that focuses on prevention, early detection, and in-process or post-work inspection for designated business processes.
