    In our brand new Fulfillment Center in Wijchen, we take care of the logistics processing and shipping of contact lenses and accessories, reading glasses and photochromic glasses. So far we do this for four banners/brands which did move to this new Fulfillment Center. These brands are both in B2B (Wholesale) as B2C (E-commerce). So far we have 45 employees in our Warehouse team. As well now we are extending our Control tower / Customer Service Back-office team with a third team member. The team is taking care of the administrative activities around the for the B2B and B2C activities which are performed in the warehouse.

    Job description
    As a Customer Service logistics employee, you are the most important link between the corporate team, based at the head office in Italy, and local stakeholders such as wholesale customers, carriers and colleagues (in the warehouse).

    • Cross-functional communication:
      You are responsible for streamlining communication and managing logistics processes. You will work closely with internal teams, external suppliers and carriers to ensure that all shipments are handled on time and efficiently. You provide relevant information about shipping status, changes and updates.
    • Relationship management:
      You build positive relationships with your suppliers, carriers and colleagues through regular meetings. You provide ideas for improvement and an even better customer experience.
    • Data analysis and insight:
      You have a sharp analytical view and excellent communication skills. You can multitask but maintain the focus on the corporate team by providing data and identifying trends that ensure a continuous improvement process. You analyze the Service Level Agreements , provide feedback and propose ideas for improvements.
    • Indirect procurement:

    As back-office you place the PO for consumables which are needed in the warehouse.

    • Proven experience in a control tower / back-office customer service role, preferably within the e-commerce or wholesale distribution industry
    • Background (preferable) with a business/economics degree
    • Excellent knowledge of English language (Dutch is advantageous)
    • Microsoft Office experience in Excel and Outlook
    • Experience with WMS systems (preferable SAP knowledge)
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Critical and analytical thinking: You like to dive into data and gain valuable insights from it.
    • Proactive attitude: You think ahead and come up with creative solutions.
    • Teamplayer (you look to work in a team and to rotate tasks)
