What to Expect

  • Location: Amsterdam
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Start date: September 2024
  • Length: Fulltime (40h a week)
  • NOTE: YOU MUST BE ENROLLED IN HIGHER EDUCATION DURING THE ENTIRE INTERNSHIP TO BE CONSIDERED.
  • We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our EMEA Service Engineering team. You will be challenged with several vehicle diagnostic tasks related to the vehicles User Interface. Moreover, you will have an opportunity to implement your own ideas that will improve the efficiency, cost and experience of vehicle service and maintenance. Your code will have a lot of impact and travel within all Tesla vehicles worldwide
What You'll Do

  • Understand the inner workings and improve diagnosability of the vehicle User Interface
  • Deep dive into several vehicle subsystems and work with specialized teams on diagnostic software improvements
  • Propose and implement product improvements by supporting local Service teams with complex Infotainment issues
What You'll Bring

  • Level C1 in English (written and spoken)
  • Familiar with Linux / Unix systems
  • Experience with embedded systems, and programming languages such as C/C++/Python/JavaScript
  • Effective communication skills and attention to detail

Nice to have:

  • Experience with CAN architecture
  • Knowledge of Qt based frontend
  • Understanding of web based backends (e.g REST APIs)
  • Familiarity with unit testing and integration tests
