    Who are we looking for

    We are looking for a passionate, multitasking individual with excellent communication skills for a Night Audit position at Notiz Hotel's Front Office department. Responsibilities include guest invoicing, ensuring correct closure of hotel outlets, and providing a warm welcome to late-checking guests. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management preferred, but experience is less important than motivation. Cultural awareness and proficiency in English (and Dutch if possible) desired. This position is also well-suited for international students on a search year visa or enrolled in a master's Program.

    NHLStenden Hospitality Group B.V. is an independent management training company for Hotel Management School located in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands.

    It is the community of four business units and supporting services; Notiz Hotel, Restaurant Wannee, Meeting U and Catering in Leeuwarden.

    What you will be doing

    The Night Audit Employee performs a range of tasks, from 22.30 till 07.00 am, including reconciling cash accounts, booking receipts, and managing invoices. They also handle reception duties such as check-in/out, escorting guests, and addressing requests/complaints. Additionally, they ensure safety by monitoring the premises, detecting irregularities, and taking appropriate actions in emergencies. The employee supports other departments with administrative tasks as required and utilizes effective communication channels for coordination and handovers.

    Applicant profile:

  • Studying at or having a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or similar preferred; experience is secondary to motivation.
  • Proficiency in English is essential, with Dutch language skills being advantageous.
  • After an extensive onboarding program you must be willing to work on your own at nighttime.
  • Experience in an intercultural setting is desirable.
  • Ideal for (international) students on a search year visa or pursuing a master's program.
