Tasks

About the job
As a technical purchaser at our company you fulfill a versatile and challenging position. As a technical purchaser you are responsible for the procurement of propriety parts related to gas turbine generator sets. Having technical affinity, working with a lot of internal and external stakeholders in a successful manner, and having commercial affinity are aspects that all matter.

Your main result areas are:

• You ensure that the right parts are in the right place at the right time at the lowest costs.
• You act as the main contact person of suppliers on supply agreements and purchasing terms and conditions.
• You increase flexibility by working with suppliers on lead time reduction of critical parts.
• You assist in finding new suppliers, as well as benchmarking and dual sourcing current supply base.
• You ensure that our suppliers comply to corporate policies.
• You keep in close contact with all internal stakeholders on delivery times, costs and quality.

Requirements

Your profile

We are looking for a colleague that meets the following criteria:

• Vocational level 4 or Bachelor work and thinking level.
• A technical background is desired.
• Having experience with ERP systems is a plus (MSD).
• Good Dutch and English communication skills.
• You are result oriented, accurate, have strong planning and organizations skills and negotiation skills.
