    Position Overview – Senior Accountant Coordinator

    The Senior Accountant Coordinator plays a key role in the financial operations and contributes directly to the company's growth and performance.

    This position combines hands-on financial accounting with leadership and coordination responsibilities. The role manages day-to-day financial operations, optimises financial processes, and ensures high-quality financial reporting. Acting as a trusted business partner for management in the Netherlands, this position supports strategic decision-making and financial planning.

    Key Responsibilities

    Actively contribute to the financial administration and operational finance processes

    Coordinate and support the finance team to achieve optimal performance

    Manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure process efficiency

    Prepare financial planning and manage cash flow and liquidity

    Ensure accurate and timely processing of the financial administration

    Prepare and analyse financial data and management reporting (KPIs, monthly, quarterly and annual reports)

    Act as a financial sparring partner for management in the Netherlands

    Maintain relationships with external stakeholders (tax authorities, banks, auditors)

    Drive continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting standards

    Profile Requirements
    Education

    Bachelor's degree (HBO level) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar

    Professional certification is a strong advantage

    Experience

    Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance / Accounting

    Proven experience in a similar Senior Accountant or Finance Lead role

    Strong hands-on background in financial operations and reporting

    Experience in an international or logistics environment is an advantage

    Knowledge of SAP Finance modules is a strong plus (nice to have)

    Languages

    Dutch — Required

    English — Required
