Dit wordt jouw uitdaging
Op de steekafdeling worden de chrysantenstekken in een geautomatiseerd proces opgeslagen en verwerkt. Als ploegleider steekafdeling stuur je dagelijks de medewerkers aan die het stek verwerken en zorg je ervoor dat het geautomatiseerde steekproces continue door blijft gaan. Je zorgt voor een efficiënte start aan het begin van de shift en een goede overdracht aan het einde hiervan. Je bedient verschillende machines en meldt afwijkingen en technische storingen aan de storingsmedewerker of de technische dienst. Hierbij los je de kleine storingen zelf op. Je controleert het kwaliteitsniveau van de verwerkte stekken en houdt toezicht op de uitvoering van de werkzaamheden van de medewerkers. Het productieproces op de steekafdeling wordt in twee ploegen uitgevoerd. De aanvang van de werkzaamheden kunnen starten om 6.00 uur of om 15.00 uur. In deze functie leg je verantwoording af aan de leidinggevende van de steekafdeling.

Deze taken kunnen wij aan jou overlaten

• Je voert de taken uit die nodig zijn om het productieproces te starten en zorgt voor een goede informatieoverdracht aan het einde van de shift.
• Je bedient diverse machines en verhelpt kleine technische storingen zelf. Grotere storingen of afwijkingen geef je tijdig door aan de leiding of de technische dienst.
• Je zorgt voor een juiste registratie en verwerking van gegevens in het computersysteem.
• Je controleert het kwaliteitsniveau van de verwerkte stekken en stuurt medewerkers aan bij het uitvoeren van de taken.
• Je zorgt ervoor dat het steekproces continue doorloopt.

• Je beschikt over een mbo werk- en denkniveau.

• Je beheerst de Engelse taal, het spreken van de Poolse taal is een pré.
• Het is een functie van 32-38 uur per week.

We are one of the largest breeders and propagators of chrysanthemums worldwide. We continuously update our assortment with attractive varieties, to keep consumers focused on chrysanthemums. We do this in our own country, but also worldwide through distributors and our own sales offices in Columbia and South Africa. From our production sites in Hensbroek and Tanzania, we supply customers in large parts of the world with chrysanthemum cuttings.
At the Hensbroek location, we work every day to take the next step with a team of 170 in-house employees. Are you the planting department shift leader we are looking for?

Your challenge
In the planting department, the chrysanthemum cuttings are stored and processed using an automated process. As a planting department shift leader, you manage the employees who process the cuttings on a daily basis and make sure that the automated planting process runs continuously. You facilitate an efficient start at the beginning of the shift and a proper handover at the end. You operate a variety of machines and report deviations and technical malfunctions to the troubleshooting employee or the technical department. You solve minor malfunctions yourself. You check the quality level of the cuttings that are processed and supervise the employees in the execution of their work. The production process in the cuttings department is done in two shifts. Work usually starts at 6 a.m. or 3 p.m. In this position, you will report to the manager of the cuttings department.

Your tasks

• You perform the tasks that are necessary to start the production process and make sure there is a proper information handover at the end of the shift.
• You operate a variety of machines and do minor technical troubleshooting yourself. You report major malfunctions or deviations to the management or technical department in good time.
• You make sure data is correctly registered and processed in the computer system.
• You check the quality level of the cuttings that are processed and guide employees in performing the tasks.
• You make sure that the planting process keeps running continuously.

What we expect from you

• You have at least a Secondary Vocational Education (MBO) working and thinking level.
• You have technical insight and are inventive and decisive.
• You can work with computers and are stress-resistant.
• You have excellent communication skills and you can manage employees.
• You have a good sense of responsibility and are focused on quality.
• You are willing to work flexible hours and during weekends according to a specific schedule.
• You are fluent in English; speaking Polish is a plus.
• This position is for 32-38 hours per week.
