    About us

    Civil & Modular Constructions B.V. is a leading company focusing on creating shipyards, modular drydocks, modular pontoons, and HDPE vessels for customers across the globe. Our in-house team of engineering, production, quality control, and project management professionals collaboratively develop our products to meet each client's unique requirements. Our culture is inclusive, innovative, and results-oriented, prioritizing customer satisfaction and employee development.

    The role

    The position is aimed at the design and realization of electrical installations and controls for all our products.

    Key accountabilities

    Your main task consists of the technical supervision and realization of one or more projects, both locally and internationally. You supervise the projects from design to commissioning and warranty. Depending on the situation, one or more subcontractors may deliver parts of the installations. In that case, technical substantive management, such as determining the demarcations and specifications and checking the supplies, will form part of your duties.

    The basis of your work consists of working out the system integration, setting up the specifications and demarcations, designing, programming, configuring and maintaining installations and controls. This concerns both standard and customer-specific assignments. You support one of our engineering project managers and report to the engineering manager. In addition to the theoretical side, there is also room for practical work on the products (new, warranty and maintenance). Your knowledge of hardware engineering, automation, HMI and SCADA applications and Survey, Hydrography and GPS systems makes you an excellent advisor when it comes to developing new (standard) products.

    Skills & experience
    • You have completed a university of applied sciences degree programme in (Maritime) Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Informatics, or a senior secondary vocational education course in this field with several years of work experience;
    • You are an enthusiastic specialist in the field of electrical engineering and automation, in both the engineering and realization phases;
    • You are inspired by a variety of activities, from sales to commissioning;
    • You are analytical, goal-oriented and you are a good team player;
    • You are familiar with the application of programming languages (including C++), Visio studio and SCADA (e.g., Cimplicity);
