    Are you an analytical and proactive professional with a strong affinity for risk management in complex projects? N-Sea is looking for a Risk Engineer to join our team.

    As a Risk Engineer at N-Sea, you will take a leading role within multidisciplinary Tender Teams and Project Teams, guiding them in applying robust Risk Management practices throughout the full project lifecycle. From tender initiation through project execution and completion, you will ensure N-Sea's Risk Management processes are followed and continuously improved.

    You will challenge teams constructively, provide valuable insights that influence bid/no-bid decisions, contract negotiations, and execution strategies, and ultimately contribute to safe, on-time, and on-budget project delivery in line with client expectations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Take the lead in Risk Management processes within N-Sea's tenders and projects, working closely with Tender Managers and Project Managers
    • Ensure N-Sea's Risk Management processes are followed throughout tenders and project lifecycles
    • Actively challenge teams on risk identification, mitigation measures, and risk-associated costs
    • Facilitate risk sessions to identify, categorize, qualify, quantify, prioritize, and mitigate risks and opportunities
    • Apply logistical simulations, such as Monte Carlo analysis, to support effective Risk Management
    • Support project teams in implementing and following up on risk mitigation measures
    • Populate, update, and maintain project risk & opportunities registers
    • Attend and/or lead risk-related meetings with clients and other internal and external stakeholders
    • Stay informed on developments within the field of Risk Engineering
    • Promote a culture of proactive Risk Management across all N-Sea business lines
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of Risk Management processes and tools
    • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with N-Sea's Document Management System, client requirements, and applicable standards and regulations

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Offshore Energy, or a comparable discipline (or equivalent industry experience)
    • Strong affinity with, or experience in, the Renewable Energy, Offshore Energy, or Maritime industry
    • Proven experience with Monte Carlo analysis or other logistical simulation techniques
    • Strong analytical, proactive, solution-oriented, and innovative mindset
    • Willingness to raise critical issues and challenge assumptions when necessary
    • Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
    • Hands-on approach with a strong team-player mentality
    • Professional attitude towards Health & Safety
    • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
