Senior SAP SD OTC Consultant (Freelance Contract)

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong functional expertise in SAP SD / Order-to-Cash.
• Proven experience operating as a Functional Lead or SME on SAP transformation or rollout programmes.
• Demonstrable experience delivering end-to-end SAP implementations or rollouts.
• Experience working across multi-country / international deployments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive project outcomes.
• Fluent in English Spoken and Written.

Desirable Experience

• Experience supporting European SAP rollouts.
• Exposure to integration with modules such as FI, MM, or Logistics.
• S/4HANA project experience.
• Experience working with third-party system integrators.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Lead SME for SAP SD / OTC processes.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party partners.
• Drive end-to-end SAP project delivery, from requirements gathering through to deployment and hypercare.
• Lead and support SAP rollouts across multiple European locations, including the UK and Italy.
• Integration with other SAP modules.
• Facilitate workshops, solution design sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Ensure business requirements are translated into scalable SAP solutions.
• Support testing phases including SIT, UAT, and defect resolution.
• Provide post go-live support and knowledge transfer where required.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP SD Order-to-Cash (OTC) Consultant to join a major SAP programme, acting as the Lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) across OTC processes. This role will play a critical part in bridging the gap between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external implementation partners, while driving end-to-end project delivery.

The successful consultant will support ongoing transformation initiatives and SAP rollouts across the UK and Italy, ensuring best practice design, delivery, and adoption.

Contract Length: 3 Months + Extension

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands + Potential travel to European Roll-out locations (UK & Italy) but will be minimal.

Start Date: Immediate
