- Main responsibility: create, modify, improve and implement equipment reliability strategies for 7 plastic trains.
- Other activities:
- Achieves plant ERS targets.
- Creates Equipment Reliability Strategies based upon Top Opportunity List, Critical Equipment List, and identified plant/business needs : failure modes analysis, preventive and maintenance program revision, spare revision, procedures creation.
- Evaluates effectiveness of individual aspects of the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance (PPM) program by showing quantitatively the impact of failures and PPM.
- Facilitates and/or contributes greatly to driving proactive PPM Optimization activities to support overall productivity improvements.
- Uses reliability engineering principles and tools to increase Asset Capability and Asset Mechanical Reliability.
- Participates in plant health study and efforts to implement corrective action to maintain or improve plant health.
- Develops maintenance operating discipline.
- Provides technical expertise to plant personnel on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and evaluating whether equipment is designed to meet its intended or existing service conditions.
- Supports the preventive maintenance coordinator, as required, in reviewing spare parts list for existing equipment.
- Completes EH&S orientation and all required training. Exhibits safe work behaviors and works safely without injury or insult to the environment. Fulfills all requirements of the production area and/or maintenance area EH&S.
- Gives support to turnarounds
- A Bachelor or Master Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Material Science / Metallurgical Engineer.
