Mechatronics Engineer
De functie
Samen met een team van ongeveer 5 engineers ontwerp en realiseer jij hightech systemen of modules voor klanten van VDL. Belangrijke aspecten zijn daarbij uiteraard maakbaarheid, kosten, betrouwbaarheid en technische prestaties. Je werkzaamheden voer je uit op basis van het ontwikkelingsproces PGP (Product Generation Process). Daarbij werk je vanaf klantspecificaties (CRS) en de haalbaarheid en produceerbaarheid van mechatronische componenten, tot aan de vrijgave van het ontwerp voor productie in onze fabrieken. Je beschrijft de systeemontwerpen en -specificaties, genereert concepten en definieert de hightech-modules. Je begeleidt het ontwerp tot en met het technisch valideren van het prototype. En al die werkzaamheden voer je uit op basis van weloverwogen keuzes, gevalideerd door systeemvereisten. Dat doe je niet alleen, maar in multidisciplinaire teams en in samenwerking met de mechatronics (systeem)architecten.
