    The Head of Vendor Management and Identity & Access Management (IAM) will be part of our People Services team, taking on a wide variety of topics within the Global HR function. The role incumbent will work directly with the HR Centers of Expertise (CoE's), Procurement, Business Support, Data Protection Executives, Data Privacy Officers (global & local), IT Risk etc. for the contract management part and very specifically with Chief Data Officer (for security), Asset Owner and the Capability team of IAM in Manila for the IAM part of all our global HR assets.

    In order to deliver the People Vision, our Human Resources team consists of three focus areas: People Services, Centers of Expertise and HR Business Partners. The three Human Resources areas embarked on a major Human Resources transformation program – HR unite - which aims to build an integrated Human Resources team with standardised processes, a single People Information System (Workday), and a dedicated integrated People Services organisation. At the same time, all the Global Human Resources teams continue their journeys to evolve and transform, to deliver better services and products to ING employees.

    The role reports to the Head of Global HR Service Performance & Change Control and is based in Amsterdam. The Vendor Management & IAM team exists out of 2 FTEs focused on Contract Management located in Hub Poland and 2 FTEs focused on IAM located in Hub Manila.

    Roles and responsibilities

    The main objectives which the role needs to achieve are as follows:

  • Contract Management of all contracts within Global HR including the coordination/execution of the compliance parts: Execution of Transfer Impact Assessments (TIA), coordinating Business Impact Analysis (BIA)/Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA's), coordination with Global Services (Tech) for the IT Risk part of contracts etc.
  • Set-up and run so called Service Performance Boards for Global HR contracts.
  • For IAM specifically: making sure that at any moment in time for all our Global Assets we are fully compliant in the I&A.
  • Management area Correct set-up of our toxic combinations, controls in place and regular reviews of access, etc.)
  • Contract Management

  • Customer negotiations in close collaboration with Global Procurement and Legal; recommendation to the ING Human Resources Management Team as well for contract improvements
  • Execution of contractual documents.
  • Contract Management of assigned contracts in the area of Global HR and also for People Services in the countries.
  • Responsible for post-award communications with the Vendor/Supplier (customer's) contracts personnel on all contract matters.
  • Monitoring (in the broadest sense) of Service Delivery Performance to ensure that all contract terms and conditions are met.
  • Communication to Global Human Resources and other functions on matters related to Contracts.
  • Regular provision of information and updates to all relevant stakeholders on contact developments and contract changes.
  • Compliance

  • Support of the development of compliant processes and tools.
  • Check and control if global processes are executed in a compliant way.
  • Proposal of improvements and support for the execution of the necessarily improvements.
  • Check and control that the execution of the services delivered by Suppliers/Vendors are delivered in a compliant way.
  • Execute 3rd party data monitoring for Global HR contracts.
  • Deliver Transfer Impact Assessments (TIA's) for all GHR contracts.
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)

  • Define and improve identity access management of all Information Technology applications owned by Global Human Resources in order to facilitate and control access to required data.
  • How to succeed

  • You have a minimum of 7 years of progressive (HR) operations experience.
  • You have experience with vendor performance and have program or project management experience.
  • You have experience with process improvement or optimization.
  • You have strong organisational sensitivity; the ability to understand and take into account the underlying issues, opportunities and dynamics of the organisation.
  • You have the ability to challenge leads in service centres, process owners and other stakeholders on their key performance indicators, improvement roadmaps and their delivery standards.
  • You take ownership and have the leadership courage to question and make decisions.
  • You have the ability to inspire and empower colleagues to work towards the same purpose with integrity and clear judgement.
  • You have proficient skills and experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • You have profound knowledge of written and oral English.
  • You hold a master's degree (preferred)
