Are you an ambitious final-year masters student in Bioprocess Engineering, Life Sciences, Biomedical or Pharmaceutical Sciences and looking for a challenging graduation or research internship? Would you like to work on the production our influenza vaccine and experience the pharmaceutical industry? Then this internship at Abbott in Weesp is something for you
As an intern you will work within the Competence Center Influenza (CCI) department, where you will work together with experienced laboratory technicians, scientists, process engineers and project leaders. The department is responsible for supporting influenza vaccine-related production processes and the required analytical release tests.
Your assignment is to investigate the potential improvements for the assigned downstream processes. To this aim, you will make a literature survey for the current approaches, and perform experiments for the approaches of interest, which is a great opportunity to experience working in GMP environment and research labs.
For this graduation or research internship we are looking for an ambitious and independent student with:
