Let's be clear up front, this role is brand new to the team Utilising a broad range of industry best- of -breed methods , our GCP CoE ideate s, design s and deploys SoftwareONE's cloud infrastructure & automation products & platform s, defining global standards and ensuring architectur al principles are applied. This new role will have two primary responsibilities as we grow the business :

• W orking closely with sales teams , pre-sales architects & other stakeholders across the business to support opportunities, RFPs, etc as a subject matter expert , whilst providing critical feedback and visibility into the CoE team of how our customers ' needs are evolving.
• H elping to scale the business by developing and delivering reusable content & artefacts , enabling pre- sales teams across the business to become more skilled in cloud solution selling.

Knowledge, Experience, and Expertise

• Deep expertise in designing GCP environments ; service provider, migration and transformation experience is a bonus
• Experience working with Google Cloud in either a consulting, pre- sales or engineering role, with a focus on technical pre-sales ; experience supporting large opportunities will be invaluable
• Comfortable engaging at all levels of a customer's business, from working with senior/C-level leadership to guiding IT-specialists and developers on building solutions
• Comfortable presenting, sharing knowledge and opinions through both formal and informal methods to a variety of audiences , via multiple mediums such as whiteboarding, phone / video conference, stage, etc.
• E xperience leading workshops , exploring requirements & mapping solutions
• G ood understanding of modern application landscapes & dependencies on infrastructure
• Any appreciable application development, DevOps or Big Data experience is not required but would be advantageous
• Knowledge of common operating systems (Linux / Windows), networking, structured and unstructured datastores
• Certified in at least one public cloud, ideally to Professional level .
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
