    Job summary:

    The Director of Digital Reputation Strategy is responsible for establishing an integrated and digital-first communications infrastructure within Philips' global Communications & Brand function. This role focuses on bringing together reactive and proactive digital communications activities to effectively manage and enhance reputation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of digital communications, stakeholder management, project management, and the ability to collaborate across departments to optimize communication strategies.

    Your responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement a new infrastructure and operational model across the Communications & Brand function. This model should seamlessly integrate social, digital, owned, and paid channels to enhance existing reactive and proactive communications strategies.
    • Leverage monitoring and analytics tools to inform reactive and proactive communications strategy and approach to wide-ranging external audiences.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to align communication strategies with business objectives and ensure consistency in messaging.
    • Develop strategies that are scalable and adaptable for rollout across different regions. Work closely with regional teams to customize communication approaches based on local requirements while maintaining alignment with overarching goals.
    • Create and curate audience-centric content and user journeys and manage a digital platform to strengthen Philips' reputation aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
    • Effectively project manage the implementation of the digital reputation strategy to lead, plan, and optimize communication initiatives. Set clear objectives, establish timelines, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress to ensure successful implementation of projects.
    • Collaborate with and manage external agency partners to leverage their expertise and resources, providing direction, and ensuring alignment with objectives and standards.
    • Conduct benchmarking exercises to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies against industry standards and competitors. Use benchmarking insights to drive continuous improvement.

    Your team:

    You report to the Head of the Communications Center of Excellence (CCoE). The CCoE is a team of communication specialists who oversee global Philips strategic communications planning and programs, content strategy and creation, social and digital channel management and related measurement. It is part of the global Communications & Brand function.

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following:

    • Minimum 10 years professional experience in digital communications, reputation management or related roles.
    • Master's degree in communications or a related field.
    • Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing strategies, and analytics tools, including SEO, SEA and paid social.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects from inception to completion.
    • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
    • Near-native level of English, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in healthcare communications.
