Acoustics Team Leader

The opportunity
Arup is well known for our international multi-disciplinary environment. Therefore, the team coordinates with multiple disciplines to provide total design solutions.

The Acoustics team works in the local Dutch market, but also on European and global projects and has a strong focus on auralizations, immersive simulations and parametric design.


Is this role right for you?

  • You are passionate about acoustic design and architecture, and their effects on people, cities, and health
  • You thrive within a team environment in collaboration with team members at all levels
  • You have expertise in environmental noise or building acoustic design projects across a range (but not all) of the sectors in which Arup works, including familiarity with building regulations.
  • You have a minimum of 1015 years of professional experience in the acoustic consulting market and three to five years' experience leading teams
  • You develop others by sharing technical experience/knowledge, provide guidance and feedback
  • You have proven team leadership and project management skills
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
  • You are a team player, proactive, eager to succeed, able to deal with stress and an ambassador for our company.
