For our client at Schiphol, we are looking for motivated individuals who can work in the cargo department.This position involves rotating shifts, and is full-time.
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading cargo planes using a pallet mover, low deck loader, main deck loader
- Reading load plans.
- Preparing materials needed for handling.
Requirements:
- MBO level of education and thinking.
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English is important, as well as a willingness to take relevant courses.
- Minimum of 8 years registered residency in the Netherlands and a clean record (due to screening by the military police). Otherwise screening will take long time (up to two months)
- Driver's license B is required.
- Strong sense of responsibility and a flexible attitude.
- Serviceoriented and motivated approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Before starting, there will be a 4-day safety training that everyone must successfully complete.
Following that, there will be a 1-day course to obtain the Schiphol pass, and then a practical training lasting 3 to 5 days to familiarize yourself with the location and equipment.
This process typically takes about a month. To begin work, screening by the Military Police is also required.Employment type:
