    Global Benefits Senior Consultant – Continental Europe

    Do you understand the playing field multinationals operate in? Are you passionate about employee benefits and helping clients to set up their employee benefit strategy? Can you leverage data on employee benefits to help clients understand their key risks and differentiators on their employee value proposition? Are you always looking to expand services to existing or new clients? Does it give you energy to play the key role in the learning and development of junior team members?

    This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Amsterdam office. This role will sit on the Global Benefits team in The Netherlands and report into the Managing Director Global Benefits Netherlands and Spain.

    What the day will look like

    As part of an industry-leading team, you will be key to empower results for our Multinational clients by delivering innovative and effective People Risk solutions as part of our Global Benefits Team, within Aon's Health Solutions business.

    Global Benefits partners with Multinational companies to optimize their People Risk strategy. The core of our support lies in the management of the insured benefit plans globally and the set up of the employee benefit strategy to manage the spend. This strategy can range from local renewal support, global consolidation through pooling and global underwriting to employee benefits in a captive.

    In addition we partner with clients on the broader scope of People Risk such as mitigation of claims, Employee Wellbeing, DE&I and Employee Value Propositions in combination with other Aon Expertise Teams such as Talent Assessment and Compensation.

  • Partner with our clients to deliver effective employee benefit strategies for the client. With the support of the analysts and consultants on the team.
  • Working effectively with account team members to ensure timely delivery of consulting projects, while working with colleagues across the region
  • Responsible for high quality client deliverables for projects run by Global Benefits executed by the analysts on the team.
  • Grow the revenue in the years to come by winning new clients and expanding existing client relations through leading commercial activities, decide on best approaches for projects and approaches, arranging client events and build your network within Aon.
  • Collaborating across Aon to deliver the best solutions to our clients
  • Is functionally responsible for the quality of the people working in the business line; ensuring that performance management, training & development and succession planning are in place

    • How this opportunity is different

    This role will provide you with International exposure working with clients and Aon teams across the world with the opportunity to develop yourself, the solutions and the team. We have a close-knit team of 10 in Amsterdam, and around 30 across EMEA which provides us with a multicultural environment, with over 5 nationalities and 10 spoken languages in the team.

    S kills and experience that will lead to success

  • Long-term experience of international benefits HR consulting firm or professional services firm and/or experience in the (Global) insurance market/employee benefit insurance market
  • Experience with multinational pooling, global underwriting and EB captives
  • Management and strong analytical ability
  • Consulting experience in Wellbeing, DE&I and ESG is desirable
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment
  • Analytical and self-critical, pro-active, learning attitude
  • Demonstrated consultative skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as the ability to communicate with a variety of internal and external parties

    The salary range for this position is $4.213,00 – 7.500,00 monthly. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
