As Data Engineer you align with business objectives and contribute to the overall success of our enterprise wide Data Management & Governance initiatives.
How you take care of this? Developing and communicating a clear product vision together with the Product Owner, strategy and roadmap aligned with Data Management & Governance initiatives and business needsUnderstanding and managing your stakeholders – to do the right things and to get things done
Being the right hand and sparring partner for the Data Management & Governance capability lead
Managing the Data Management Team, ensuring that features are delivered on time and meet quality standards
Giving demos and training within the organization, to help people get value out of the Enterprise Data Catalog and Data Quality tool
You will be working within the Data Management & Governance team, consisting of 6 Data Domain Stewards, 5 Data Management Engineers and the Data Management & Governance Capability Lead.
This team helps Schiphol to work easier, faster and safer with data by defining enterprise-wide Data Governance policies and coordinating the data governance work over the different business domains.
You contribute to this by analysing problems, recognising patterns and reasoning logically. Consultancy experience and excellent stakeholder management skillsProven experience (2-3 years) as senior data engineer in a Data Management / Data Governance environment
