How you can make your mark

Your responsibilities as Subsea Equipment Superintendent:

• Demonstrates and encourages safety awareness, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members under their command as well as ensuring all accidents, incidents and near misses are reported in compliance with the company's SHE-Q policy.
• Ensures that all team members understand and follow company policies, tasks and procedures.
• Plans, delegates and supervises maintenance and repair activities on the Trenching or Plough spreads on board our vessels and/or in our Boskalis Waalhaven Center, in accordance with company policies and quality standards. Sets priorities regarding maintenance activities within planning and budget.
• Compiles and completes reports, administration and preparation of technical procedures and/or reports (daily reports, fault reports, Planned Maintenance system, work procedures, Risk analysis, permits, etc.).
• Manage, instruct and motivate employees in order to achieve optimal team performance.

Your qualities

You can move ahead as a Subsea Equipment Superintendent if you have:

• At least 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Vast experience in working with electronical, hydraulic and/or mechanical systems.
• Vast experience with Jetting/mechanical Trenching and/or Ploughing is required.
• Education (bachelor's) degree in mechanical, electrical or electronic engineering.
• A team player with strong leadership and management skills.
• The willingness to travel globally (on a flexible rotational base, work on location for some weeks, followed by a similar amount of weeks' leave, mostly).
• Good communication skills and a good command of written and spoken English.

• Your team: You will be part of the Offshore team of Boskalis Subsea Cables, potentially working on various vessels and/or Trenching and Ploughing systems together with our teams offshore.
• Where you will work: On flexible rotations, offshore across the world on different projects or in our shoreside facilities in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
• Full/part-time job: The position of Subsea Equipment Superintendent is a full-time job, with a flexible offshore rotation.
