C++ Software Engineer – Algorithmic Trading
Location:
Amsterdam (Hybrid)
The Role
Join our client to build and optimize low-latency C++ systems that power automated trading strategies. You'll work alongside elite traders and researchers, writing code that directly impacts P&L. From improving execution algorithms to reducing latency, your work drives our edge in the market.
Start with intensive training in Amsterdam, then collaborate daily with traders to monitor live strategies and iterate on systems under expert guidance.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ trading applications
• Partner with traders to turn ideas into robust, scalable code
• Optimize for speed, reliability, and low latency
• Support 24/5 global trading operations
What We're Looking For
• Strong C++ skills (modern C++, multithreading, Linux)
Trading experience is a huge plus
– knowledge of market microstructure, execution algorithms, or live strategy support
• Analytical, detail-obsessed, and thrives under pressure
• Python/C# is a plus
