    The position offers a unique opportunity to work in a mission-driven startup that offers data tools designed to guide the real estate market to a net-zero carbon future. Our platform allows investors and fund managers to get meaningful and actionable data that enables them to improve their assets' ESG performance and reduce their footprint on the planet.

    As the Head of Recruiting, you will lead the recruiting and new hire operations end-to-end together with our operations and executive team. The responsibilities will range from streamlining our recruiting process, collaborating on our hiring strategy, and executing on growing our Scaler Team.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent, including sourcing candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, and networking events.
    • Own the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial job posting to offer acceptance, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout.
    • Collaborate across our Scaler teams to understand their needs and create job descriptions that accurately reflect the requirements of the role and the culture of the company.
    • Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit, and make recommendations for hiring decisions.
    • Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of the recruitment process, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, applicant conversion rates, and quality of hires, and provide regular reports and analysis to stakeholders to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
    • Lead the onboarding process for new hires, including coordinating orientation sessions, preparing materials, and providing support to ensure a seamless transition into the company.
    • Partner with the leadership team to develop and implement employee development initiatives, including performance management processes, training programs, and career development opportunities.
    • Support year-end performance reviews by providing guidance to managers, collecting feedback, and facilitating the review process to ensure timely completion and constructive feedback for employees.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, universities, and other relevant organizations to build a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
    • Analyze recruitment metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations to optimize the hiring process and enhance overall talent acquisition efforts.
    • Contribute to the development of the company's hiring strategy by staying informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and providing input on how to attract and retain top talent in a competitive market.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
    • Proven experience (5 years) in talent acquisition, recruiting, or HR roles, preferably with a focus on tech and product
    • Demonstrated expertise in sourcing and attracting top talent using a variety of methods, including online job boards, social media, and networking events.
    • Proficiency in using HRIS systems to manage candidate pipelines, track recruitment metrics, and generate reports for analysis and decision-making
    • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
