RWE Generation NL is the Dutch subsidiary of RWE Generation SE, headquartered in Essen, Germany.

Based on production technology, RWE Generation is divided into three divisions, Gas, Biomass and Hydro & Storage, bringing together knowledge, skills and the plants.

Production sites are located in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands and teams work together internationally.

While the divisions are divided by production technology, international cooperation on projects transcends these. The projects cover CO2 emissions reduction, CO2 capture and storage, hydrogen projects and battery storage.

The above activities have gained momentum, which is why we are looking for an experienced Expert Purchaser Projects and Support to help realise our ambitions.

(Senior) Expert Purchaser Projects and Support (full-time)

As Expert Purchaser Projects and Support, you will be the main EN point of contact for the group-wide project and support team and play a central role in the procurement process.

You will work closely with various departments within RWE to ensure procurement strategies are in line with business objectives and internal guidelines.

Your duty station could be Geertruidenberg or Eemshaven, depending on where you live.

Job content

You provide support to other departments to comply with procurement procedures and make processes efficient
You resolve issues related to Direct Procurement with the respective functions within RWE (Stakeholder Management)
You manage and promote change projects and work on optimisation projects
You participate in interdisciplinary project work and represent procurement interests in multifunctional teams
You support procurement automation strategies You will provide adhoc reports and procurement support as required

**Job requirements

HBO working and thinking level preferably a technical education and supplemented by NEVI 1 and 2 training courses
Knowledge of and extensive experience with (NL) legislation, external regulations and internal (Group) guidelines and regulations affecting the Procurement function within RWE Generation Group
Multiyear working experience in a similar position
Knowledge of and experience in drafting and managing procurement agreements and demonstrable affinity with the legal aspects of contracting
You are a good negotiator, a structural thinker, you are communicatively strong and have good analytical skills
You have the ability to handle conflicts with a pronounced solution orientation
Good command of Dutch and English in word and writing, German is an advantage
Experience of working in an ERP system, preferably SAP
You are flexible and willing to travel
