    We are looking for:

    For our Legal Finance team based either in Amsterdam or Paris, we are looking for a new colleague. The Finance Lawyer together with the other members of the team will form the Legal Finance expert competence centre. The main stakeholder of the team is the group's Treasury and Strategic Finance organization and the main areas of support are the legal aspects of finance projects and assisting with the implementation of relevant new legislation.

    You will have the following tasks and responsibilities:

    • Legal advice, including drafting, transaction management and support, on:
      • Public (benchmark) bonds issuances (including Green Bonds) as well as private placements under our EMTN Programme;
      • Keeping our EMTN Programme up to date;
      • Public and private securitization and structured finance transactions;
      • Syndicated term loan and revolving credit facility agreements;
      • Bilateral loan and intercompany facility agreements, including providing guarantees (or letters of comfort) for the benefit of Ayvens' subsidiaries;
      • Corporate ISDA/CSA related matters;
    • Legal support, such as providing (ad hoc) advice on all types of finance, treasury and other (intercompany) funding matters;
    • Providing support on finance related matters to other (legal) teams of the Ayvens group;
    • Participate in finance projects linked to strategic corporate projects;
    • Instruct and manage external lawyers to ensure the best possible outcome for internal stakeholders; and
    • Keeping up-to-date with legal developments and proactively notify the business on (new) laws and regulations.

    To succeed in this role, you have the following skills and experience:

    • Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of sound international finance experience in legal matters within the international banking and finance markets and preferably experience with debt capital markets and/or structured finance (securitization) transactions;
    • Understanding of global (financial) markets and international legal systems;
    • Able to act swiftly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest levels of quality, confidentiality, reliability and integrity;
    • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and influencing skills required to be effective across all levels in and outside of the international organization of Ayvens;
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills that enable you to quickly acquire and connect new information and oversee complex situations;
    • 'A can-do mentality'; and
    • Able to balance high initiative with teamwork.
