- Provides hands-on environmental, industrialhygiene (IH), and health and safety (H&S) activities for aspecific maintenance group in preparation and execution ofwork.
- Shares responsibilityfor the implementation of the EH&S management system, in orderto meet business objectives and to maintain the license tooperate.
- Implements detailed,task level, day to day EH&S programs, utilizing the EH&Swork process, standards and procedures.
- Ensures that the Environmental, IH, and Healthand Safety aspects of operating discipline are adequate and appliedto achieve EH&S performance goals. In most cases, would performthe role of section owner for the EH&S sections of operatingdiscipline.
- Acts as resourcefor related EH&S information on procedures, guidelines andstandards.
- Serves as contactfor Environmental, IH, and Health and Safetyissues.
- Coaches and trainsteams and individuals within maintenance on EH&S related tasksand activities.
- Assists indeveloping and achieving area or departmental EH&Sgoals.
- Ensures EH&Scompliance tasks are completed.
- Completion of MBO4+ degree incombination with an EH&S degree like MVK, OVK orequivalent.
- Experience insimilar roles within the chemical industry.
- Fluent in English and Dutch.
