Leerkracht Humanistisch Vormingsonderwijs - Harderwijk, Nederland - Regio Centraal (Harderwijk/Ermelo)

We are looking for Humanistisch Vormingsonderwijs (HVO) teachers for various public primary schools in the Central region (around Ermelo/Harderwijk). As an HVO teacher, you will be teaching students aged 4 to 12, but you are not part of the 'regular' school team. You will be employed by us, the national foundation HVO Primair. Sometimes you will collaborate with one or more HVO colleagues at the same public primary school. Most of the time, you will work at multiple schools.

Together with your HVO team, you will have regular work meetings, peer coaching sessions, and training. You can also reach out to each other, either in person or online, for feedback, support, or just a chat with a colleague. The team is supervised by a regional coordinator in your area.

During the weekly HVO lessons, you will guide children in exploring moral situations and life questions in an interactive, playful, and creative way. As a teacher, your goal is to connect as much as possible with the students' own experiences within your HVO group. This helps them:

• get to know themselves better
• learn to deal with and respect differences with others
• make choices and take responsibility for themselves

Social and moral development are key concepts in this role. You will deliver the lessons based on our humanistic values. Through the internal training you will receive before starting teaching, you will acquire the necessary skills for this purpose.
