Gisou is born out of a passion for bees, haircare and natural beauty.

Based on a six-generation beekeeping heritage, each Gisou product is inspired by and made with the finest, sustainably sourced ingredients from our very own Mirsalehi Bee Garden.

With this method, our founder Negin and her father continue the family tradition of beekeeping.

Our hair care and complexion products harness the transformative benefits of Mirsalehi Honey and rich botanical sources, selected to enhance ones natural beauty.

We are committed to a bee-friendly & sustainable production method that puts the Mirsalehi Honey Bees first, not only for the sake of the bees, but the greater ecosystem as well.

In the upcoming years, we intend to continue to develop high-quality honey infused beauty products as we develop a globally renowned label and raise awareness about the importance of a healthy bee population.

We have been experiencing double digital growth YoY and have established ourselves as a leading hair care line across our global retailers such as Sephora, Selfridges, Mecca, and Harrods.

We are currently available in over 40 countries and are on an explosive journey of growth as we launch in new markets, open additional channels and focus on building our team internationally.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Creative Operations Director, you will be an integral part of the Creative Team, responsible for overseeing the development and execution of creative projects and strategies.

Your role will involve balancing creative vision with operational efficiency to ensure our brand remains at the forefront of the beauty industry.

Lead and manage the creative process from concept to completion.
Translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies.
Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams, particularly marketing.
Troubleshoot and provide feedback to creative teams.
Manage and cultivate the career development of staff members, including designers, art directors, copywriters, photographers, and web developers.
Develop and manage the creative department's budget.
Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining highquality standards.
Implement and improve processes and tools for efficient workflow.
Collaborate with other departments to drive innovation and cohesiveness.
Alongside the VP of Creative, managing the operations of Gisou internal creative agency
Gatekeeping the creative brief process and introducing a clear priortisation framework
Budget management, forecasting and project scoping
Productivity metrics & monitoring, and progress reporting
Stakeholder & Supplier management and building strong relationships across the multifunctional teams
Onboarding project management tools and processes
Oversee and validate 'pitches' and proposals from the business. Ensure timely delivery and management of standards of all projects

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Minimum of 8 years of related experience with 3+ years of creative direction in agency or corporate setting.
Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives.
Prior experience with copywriting, design, or production.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Mastery in software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to think creatively and justify concepts to clients and team members. Experience in working with a high volume of projects in a fastpaced environment.
