    The Group Regulatory Affairs Specialist ensures regulatory compliance of the PVM products manufactured and distributed across various markets. This role is pivotal in navigating complex regulatory landscapes, supporting product development initiatives, and safeguarding consumer safety.

    The Group Regulatory Affairs Specialist is part of the Group Regulatory team based in Breda, the Netherlands.

    The operating environment is defined by complex regulations, collaboration across functions, global market dynamics, consumer expectations, emerging trends, risk management and ethical considerations. Adaptability, attention to detail and a good understanding of regulatory requirements are essential for success in this role.

    Tasks and responsibilities

    • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory dossiers for product registrations and approvals.
    • Labeling and packaging compliance
    • Monitor, gather and study food and labelling regulations/standards
    • Preparation of mandatory labelling files using the Regulatory database for EU and non-EU countries
    • Ensure the compliance of products with national food legislation/standards of the territories involved (verifying ingredients, nutritional information, raw materials, checking product labels for approval, claims)
    • Collaboration with Marketing teams in new project development by providing regulatory advice
    • Support local P&T team by providing regulatory advice
    • Coordinating role in collecting the regulatory information for EU markets to support multi-market endeavours
    • Coordinating role in supporting USA activities (third party)

    Requirements

    Bachelor or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or Biology or similar

    Food Law training/specialism is a plus

    Minimum of 2 years experience in Regulatory Affairs at a multinational company operating in the food industry

    Experience in an international environment is a plus

    Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements.

    Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.

    Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality in regulatory documentation and compliance efforts

    Project management skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

    Detail-oriented, highly organized, responsible and pragmatic.

    Affinity with sustainability

    Lateral thinker (ability to understand problems and recommend realistic value-added solutions

    Fluent in English, other languages such as, but not limited to, Greek, Dutch, German, any of the Scandinavian languages or Eastern European are a plus
