    You probably know that McDonald's collaborates with Franchisees. But did you know that McDonald's operates 18 restaurants in the Netherlands? This is what we call McOpCo; McDonald's Operated by Company. Additionally, we have a Head Office with over 130 employees. As a Payroll Administrator, your role revolves around ensuring timely and accurate payroll administration for McDonald's Netherlands, including the McOpCo Restaurants. You will act as a link between various departments, ensuring smooth monthly payments and constantly seeking optimization opportunities and analyzing innovations to enhance processes.

    KEY INGREDIENTS OF THIS JOB

    The Payroll Administrator role offers a mix of responsibilities:

    • Validate mutations carried out by the Restaurants and Head Office, ensuring independent payroll processing
    • Identify and resolve inaccuracies, possibly in consultation with colleagues
    • Manage all obligations with relevant authorities and oversee the salary process
    • Report and analyze salary data, providing advice on effective control
    • Provide a helpdesk service for Managers and employees of McOpCo and Head Office staff
    • Conduct tasks in accordance with legal frameworks, McDonald's guidelines, and procedures

You will be part of the Finance team comprising around 15 colleagues and report to Michael Peters, Chief Finance Officer.


    Your Menu

    If you bring energy, humor, extensive experience in Payroll processing, and familiarity with AFAS, then you're in the right place. Additionally:

    • Intermediate vocational education/Higher professional education level
    • Education in Payroll Administration, such as PDL or VPS
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
    • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) & AFAS is essential
    • Oral and written command of Dutch and English languages
    • Affinity with globally renowned products like Big Mac and Chicken McNuggets
