About the Role

Currently, the company comprises approximately 10 locations including 3 breeding sites responsible for reproduction, where sows produce piglets. Besides these 3 breeding sites, a significant number of piglets are raised in pig barns at other locations. With three generations working on the farms, they, along with the employees, ensure the best possible care for the pigs.

What are we looking for?

• Health check of piglets and pigs
• Sorting and arranging piglets
• Feeding piglets
• Handling the movement of animals
• Vaccinating animals
• Occasional cleaning of animal shelters/alleys/waiting room/canteen/hygiene lock
• Technical maintenance

As a working foreman, you will have additional responsibilities:

• Ordering feed (mash/supplements)
• Selecting animals for slaughter
• Supervising 1 to 2 colleagues
• Monitoring the overall health of the company
• Walking through the company with the feed supplier and veterinarian
• Additionally, reporting to the company owner

The company also has a manure processing facility. If you have ambitions in this area, a dual role can be considered.

About the Company

You will be joining a truly family-run business. A well-established venture, operating for nearly 80 years. Started small, and now expanding to 10 different locations. Three of these are breeding sites, while the remaining locations house piglets in pork barns.

What We Offer

• Full-time position for 43 hours per week
• A salary ranging from €2750.00 to €3250.00 depending on your experience
• Working hours from approximately 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
• One weekend shift every two weeks
