• You will be responsible for building and leading a high performing distributed engineering organization across a global domain. Capable of operating at scale, but also getting things done.
• Take responsibility for the development and performance management of leaders at different levels within your organization.
• You will be accountable for the technical aspects of your pillar's roadmaps in alignment with the product team.
• You will ensure that the Payment technologies developed are compliant to required regulatory standards and continuously improve them aiming to keep things simple, yet effective.
• You will foster an engineering culture that is value-outcome-driven, promotes quality, agility and ownership.
• As our organization evolves you will be responsible be for driving and championing change within your domain to meet the needs of the pillar/ business

What will you bring to the table?

• Experience in building a strong engineering culture, creating high performing teams with an emphasis on quality and delivery.
• Experienced in coaching and mentoring - understanding how to help people to grow and how to play to their strengths
• Experience in guiding teams towards building secure, scalable solutions in line with global target architectures. Defining and building a way to get there without impacting the running operation.
• Experience in co-creating, communicating, and executing a technical strategy.
• Experience in leading people and teams through growth and change.
• Experience to communicate technical concepts/approaches to non technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with Product counterparts to lead an organization and achieve objectives.
• Knowledge on payment processing, payment gateways, fraud prevention and relevant compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS).
