Global Category Manager Corporate Services & IT

Job Description:


The Category Manager for Corporate Services & IT is responsible for developing and implementing global category strategies for Corporate Services and IT.

The Category Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our Corporate Services and IT procurement categories, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

The Category Manager will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders within HR, finance, and IT.


Key Responsibilities:


Category Management Corporate Services & IT**- In close cooperation with internal stakeholders, develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for Corporate Services categories, including but not limited to marketing, professional services, staffing services, travel, fleet, and IT.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across HR, finance and IT to understand their requirements, align procurement strategies, and ensure effective communication and service delivery.
  • Conduct RFP/RFQs and lead teams through the evaluation and selection process in accordance with company goals and policies.
  • Review purchase requests for completeness and compliance with company requirements; negotiates with suppliers and approves purchases within their authorized amounts or size.
  • Communicate category strategies, initiatives, and performance updates to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage supplier performance to ensure quality and costeffective services.
  • Analyze spend data, identify costsaving opportunities, and implement initiatives to achieve cost reductions while maintaining service quality.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier contracts, service delivery, and compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks within the categories.
  • Monitor and track cost savings, performance metrics, and KPIs to measure the success of category strategies.
  • Manage the maintenance of agreements with suppliers between Delrin and the supply base.
  • Develop and maintain agreement templates.

Ideal Profile:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a global, highpace, dynamic, results oriented environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a preference.
  • Fluent in English. Dutch is a preference.
  • This is a fulltime position located in the Netherlands (Dordrecht) or USA (Parkersburg or Wilmington)
