    This retail organization with 100+ associates and an office in Amsterdam is looking for a Sales Analyst, who will be responsible for auditing sales for EMEA retail locations, communicating with stores after audits, and implementing controls to prevent future issues. This is a temporary assignment for 6 months

    The Retail Sales Audit Analyst will be responsible for auditing sales for EMEA retail locations, communicating with stores after audits, and implementing controls to prevent future issues. You will partner with retail finance, IT, DTC, the merchandising team, store managers, and loss prevention team to align all responsibilities within the sales audit function.

    • Audit of Retail Sales transactions for the EMEA Region;
    • Maintain and review audit rules within relevant systems to ensure they align with the company policy;
    • Identify and facilitate the resolution of any variances by working closely with internal partners across multiple departments;
    • Oversee the period-end sales audit close;
    • Manage the setup of new retail stores within relevant systems and maintenance of existing locations;
    • Lead and drive investigations when relevant with the support of the operations team or loss prevention team;
    • Oversee customer refund applications covering issues such as order fulfillment, duplicate system charges, and chargeback inquiries, among others;
    • Prepare monthly retail journal entries using;
    • Retail Credit Card reconciliations - EMEA Region;
    • Retail Cash reconciliations - EMEA Region;
    • Retail Gift Card reconciliations - EMEA Region;
    • Store visits on a regular basis making sure all finance processes are followed correctly;
    • Continuously contribute to improving store processes to minimize cash losses or fraud;
    • Work with the Store Training Manager to review and revise store procedures for POS and card/cash handling etc.;
    • Calculate and submit regular Store Turnover submission reports, as well as manage the year end audited turnover certificate preparation for the region;
    • Assist with any retail sales related testing/queries during the annual statutory audits.
