What will you be doing as Operational Commercial Backoffice Employee?

DETAILS:

As mentioned, the role combines both operational and commercial back-office tasks:

• Operational: primarily in the mornings, everyone works hard to process orders efficiently. In this part of the role, you will be responsible for order processing, including preparatory, verification, and concluding tasks such as preparing the necessary documents for each customer. Occasionally, you may also deliver orders to the transport company at the flower auction, although this is not part of the daily routine.
• Commercial Back Office: You will manage assortment and supply, order management, prepare quotes, and communicate weekly with growers regarding stock updates and innovations. When needed, you will also support in the (daily) procurement of plants, pottery, and other items. Lastly, you will assist in the brand new webshop targeting the gift segment.

The Company: You will join a rapidly growing company specializing in the development, sourcing, and sale of hardware (pots, baskets, etc.) for indoor plants. The team, currently consisting of 4 employees, collaborates closely with 15 regular growers to create a beautiful range of "pot-plant" combinations, each bearing its unique signature. These combinations are sold both online (with significant growth) and offline, with the majority (via exporting wholesalers) reaching European consumers.

What Are We Looking For?

You are a quick, enterprising, and enthusiastic team player eager to work in a small, rapidly growing company. While knowledge of hardware (pots) and/or plants is not required, you enjoy learning about them. You have a few years of work experience and are seeking a new long-term challenge. Additionally:

• You are customer-oriented, communicative, and socially and collegially inclined.
• You are fluent in Dutch, both spoken and written, and proficient with computers. The company uses its ERP system, and basic Excel skills are beneficial.
• You have a valid driver's license.
