Clinical proteomics in hemostatic disorders
Congenital and acquired disorders of hemostasis represent a large clinical burden.

The mission of the Medical Priority Bleeding & Hemostasis of Sanquin Research is to improve diagnosis and treatment of patients suffering from acquired and genetic bleeding disorders.

We are looking for a PhD student, a bio-informatician/post-doc and a technician to join our rapidly expanding team that focuses on mass spectrometry-based approaches to unravel hemostatic disorders.

Technician

We employ highly advanced equipment (TimsTof HT, Orbitrap Lumos/Fusion/XL, Bravo AssayMap) to analyze plasma, platelets and circulating blood cells of large cohorts of patients with as yet not fully characterized hemostatic disorders.

We offer the opportunity for an analytically-minded person to contribute to high-throughput plasma proteomics projects, with a focus on innovating established mass spectrometry-based workflows.

Medical Priority Bleeding and Hemostasis

Requirements for the technician position**:

  • A BSc degree in analytical chemistry or equivalent, with affinity for mass spectrometry.
  • Good communication skills in English
  • The ability to work efficiently independently, but also in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary and international team composed of highly ambitious young researchers.

Conditions of employment
We offer unique research opportunities in a dynamic environment.

Nowhere else in the world you will find an organization that combines medical, pharmaceutical, diagnostic and scientific research under one roof.

In addition to a challenging project in a multi-disciplinary and enthusiastic team we offer:
