An opportunity has arisen to enlarge the team in Belgium. The focus is on recruiting wind turbine service technicians with specific experience in Enercon turbines. If you reside in Belgium and possess the requisite expertise, we are keen to connect with you.

The role entails the inspection, maintenance, and repair of Enercon wind turbines across various wind parks. Responsibilities encompass routine preventive maintenance on wind turbine systems including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and converter components. Additionally, the technician will handle unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, retrofits, emergency breakdowns, and major part replacements.

Your Profile

• Relevant Mid-level electrical education (MBO 3 or 4 diploma, or equivalent experience)
• Minimum three years of electrical experience, preferably in a mechanical or hydraulic setting like wind farms, power stations, or heavy engineering maintenance environments
• Proficiency in low and high voltage systems and certification in relevant courses
• Fluency in English, strong safety consciousness, possession of a valid driver's license, familiarity with MS software, and adaptability to varying work conditions
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, along with a practical and solution-oriented mindset
• Willingness to travel, collaborate effectively within a team, and strong interpersonal and communication skills

Your Tasks

• Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on wind turbines
• Collaborate with a team to ensure adherence to safety protocols
• Replace major turbine components and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Support site operations, conduct inspections, and maintain overall safety standards
• Complete necessary documentation and comply with company policies
• Participate in on-call duties on weekends and holidays, adhere to customer site regulations
