As our Central Influencer & Culture Strategist, you will not only tell our story but also forge meaningful connections that inspire a healthier, more sustainable world.

Based in the heart of Amsterdam, this role offers the chance to spearhead groundbreaking campaigns that resonate with our global audience and champion the plant-based movement.

This role is part of the Central Marketing Team which leads Upfield's holistic marketing efforts across Europe.

This role will work closely with our on-the-ground teams in UK, Spain, Poland, Portugal, Sweden and more, in a leadership role providing strategic guidance and supporting in creative execution.

International experience is preferred and some travel will be required for this role.


Role Purpose:


  • Provide strategic guidance for the influencer programs across Europe and help on the teams in each country elevate their influencer and content programs
  • Elevate content creation programs across our brands by working handson with our creative agencies and team of designers.
  • To harness insights on end consumer preferences and behaviours through advanced social listening and trend watching, influencing our marketing strategies and product development.
  • To lead Upfield's influencer marketing initiatives, building strong relationships with key influencers in the foodservice industry, turning them into passionate brand ambassadors.


In this role, you lead our social listening initiatives using tools like Sprinklr to capture and act on consumer trends and insights and bring these to life.

You utilise platforms similar to Klear for managing influencer marketing initiatives, from sourcing influencers to managing negotiations and fostering long-term partnerships.

As Central Influencer & Culture Strategist you craft and implement creative campaigns that resonate with our target audience, leveraging insights from social listening and influencer feedback.

Last but not least, you collaborate closely with influencers, ensuring partnerships are aligned with Upfield's values and marketing objectives.


So, what does it take to be successful in this role?

  • A passion for social trends, food and beverage marketing and a love for creative marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience in influencer marketing, including sourcing influencers, managing negotiations, and building brand ambassador relationships.
  • Content creative skills related to Instagram and TikTok
  • A passion for handson experience executing within the social media space for global brands
  • Proficiency with social listening and trend analysis, ideally experienced with tools like Sprinklr and platforms for influencer marketing management.
  • Strong analytical skills for measuring and optimizing influencer campaign performance.
  • A passion for plantbased nutrition and a creative, strategic approach to social media marketing.
