De Nutrition & Formulation Manager maakt deel uit van de Middle East & Africa Export-organisatie gevestigd in Boxmeer, Nederland en houdt toezicht op de verkoopactiviteiten in het Midden-Oosten en Afrika.

De Formulation Manager is de drijvende kracht achter de afdeling Nutrition & Formulation en zal twee belangrijke verantwoordelijkheden hebben:

De MEA Nutrition & Formulation Manager coördineert de discussie rond formuleringsnormen en leidt het periodieke formuleringsproces met input van verschillende belanghebbenden op alle niveaus (inclusief Global Innovation en de soortvoedingsdeskundige) om te voldoen aan de verwachte prestaties op het gebied van kosten/winst en kwaliteit van premix, boerderijmineralen , krachtvoer en volledige voeding.

De Formuleringsmanager waarborgt de hoge voedingsnormen van het productportfolio en bevordert het begrip van het effect van voeding op de gezondheid, het welzijn en de productiviteit van dieren, terwijl hij de operationele uitmuntendheid en productieaspecten in gedachten houdt.

Er zijn ook groeimogelijkheden door te leren van de expertise van senior collega's die bereid zijn hun kennis te delen.

Wij bieden je een fulltime hybride functie, 40 uur per week.

• Flexibele werkomgeving met mogelijkheid tot enkele dagen per week thuiswerken.
• Je legt gemakkelijk relaties op en weet stakeholders te benaderen met nieuwe ideeën. Je beschikt over geweldige coachingvaardigheden om de ontwikkeling van je team van voedingsdeskundigen en formuleerders te ondersteunen, met 5 directe rapporten. Er worden ook internationale reizen verwacht en het kan zijn dat u ongeveer 30% van uw tijd in het buitenland werkt.

Ervaring met het werken met multidisciplinaire teams in een internationale omgeving

• Kennis van ERP-tools, Power BI, Microsoft Office (MS Excel)
• Hoger niveau van programma-/projectmanagement- en verandermanagementervaring
• As MEA Nutrition&Formulation Manager, you contribute to our purpose of "Feeding the Future" by taking charge of a team that is key to our value proposition, by improving its efficiency, and integrating it into our global network of formulation specialists.

The Nutrition & Formulation Manager is part of Middle East & Africa Export organization based in Boxmeer, the Netherlands and overseeing sales operations in the Middle East and Africa.

The Formulation Manager is the driving force behind the Formulation & Nutrition department and will have two major responsibilities:

The MEA Formulation Manager coordinates the discussion around formulation standards and leads the periodical formulation process with input from various stakeholders on all levels (including Global Innovation and the species nutritionist) to meet the expected performance on cost/profit and quality of premix, farm minerals, concentrates and complete feed.

The Formulation Manager safeguards high-level nutritional standards of the product portfolio and promotes the understanding of the effect of diet on health, wellbeing and productivity of animals while keeping in mind the operational excellence and manufacturing aspects.

The Formulation Manager also helps coordinating initiatives to improve department efficiency, and projects across departments for product development, customer support, product registration, and documentation, like labels, product data sheet and certificate of quality.

The formulation department also contributes with marketing and technical support to sales teams, distributors, and final clients.

• You have great coaching skills to support the development of your team of nutritionists and formulators, with 5 direct reports. University degree in the field of Animal Science or Food Science
• At least 10 years of work experience including 3 to 5 years in a comparable or relevant position in the animal feed industry.
• Familiar with Formulation with Linear Programming Software
• Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams in an international environment
• Experience managing a team
• Knowledge in ERP tools, Power BI, Microsoft Office (MS Excel)
• Higher level of Programme/Project Management and Change Management experience
• Fair understanding of sales & financials.
