The role:

• The control engineer should have expertise in advanced modeling techniques and control theory.
• Required knowledge of Zero-Emission Powertrain Components and Automotive high voltage systems, or the eagerness to acquire it.
• Main responsibilities include developing control functions as part of a diverse team and leading the definition of control function architecture.
• Collaboration with global PACCAR teams to gather specific function requirements and transform them into cutting-edge control concepts.

Requirements:

• MSc or PhD Degree in Control Systems Engineering.
• Proficiency in Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, and related control toolboxes.
• Demonstrated experience in developing control functions for automotive systems, particularly electrified powertrains.
• Testing and validating functional requirements and control designs using advanced verification methods.
• Fluency in English is essential.
