To make it possible we would like to bring on board a passionate professional for a position of Operational Risk Manager Primary and Secondary Processes.


Profile:


How you will make a difference


You will help us to 'finance change to change finance', by being a dedicated ORM partner to the business for your area of expertise, supporting the 1st line in taking a next maturity step in risk management.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day activities following the ORM risk cycle (including the adequate usage of tooling) for specific sub areas within primary and/ or secondary processes across the Triodos branches (Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain) and Head Office.

Support for the German branch is key for this position.

As a part of your role:

  • You will be a dedicated ORM partner to the business, who actively engages with the 1st line co-workers on ORM products and services and identify risks, trends and actions.
  • You will execute Operational Risk Management activities by supporting first line in its risk ownership and monitor operational risk mitigation.
  • You will support in activities related to Policies, governance and reporting.
  • You will contribute to Strategic Change projects to ensure effective followup of risk processes and procedures.
  • You will execute effective 2nd line oversight and support by monitoring and challenging 1st line on the effectiveness of their operational risk management activities as well as supporting 1st line by enhancing operational risk understanding.

  • relevant all-round Operational Risk Management working experience, preferably in the banking industry
- expert knowledge of ORM processes and applicable (regulatory) framework(s)
- practice in working in a multicultural environment
- strong commend of the German market specifics (preferably)
- professional command of English and German


Your future colleagues


The Operational Risk Manager Primary and Secondary processes is organized at Group level and reports directly into the Head of Operational Risk Management Primary and Secondary processes.


You will work in a team that consists of approximately 8 other Operational Risk Managers Primary and Secondary processes, who are based across different countries.

Together with the colleagues from Operational Risk Management IT you will be responsible for effectively steering ORM activities in relation to the primary and secondary processes across the Group on a cross-border basis.

You will also closely collaborate with the First Line Risk and Control team to improve the risk awareness within the 1st line.
