    As a Business Developer in the RWA Calculation Consumer Data team you are responsible for a variety of deliverables depending on the phase of implementation.

    During project initiation you will translate business requirements into detailed data requirements. You will assess these requirements against the terms, definitions and logical data model of Finance and Risk. During the project execution you will analyse data and combine data from different sources to create meaningful integrated datasets, you will examine code from legacy systems and interpret processes to obtain valuable information for the business. You will perform data quality analyses and develop reports. You will work on documentation and have regular stakeholder alignment and team meetings where knowledge-sharing and transparency on progress is key. You will work closely with subject matter experts from Credit Risk, Basel reporting, Data Sourcing, Data Modelling and Data Platform.

    And above all you will help mature the new team and the way of working within the team, and across teams, departments and grids.

    Working environment

    The Finance & Risk Data Domain is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 250+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring data management within Finance & Risk to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable finance & risk data on time. We do this by improving the data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model. Our Finance and Risk Data Domain consists of 5 departments where the atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal.

Your ability to break down and interpret requirements on the one hand, and create future-proof data processes and datasets on the other hand in combination with impact assessments and stakeholder management is crucial for your success in this role.

    • You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written (English is required)

    • You have successfully completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (Msc.)

    • You have at least 5 years relevant working experience

    • You have (demonstrable) experience in using SQL and Python. Experience in PySpark and Databricks is a pre.

    • You have knowledge of at least one of the cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)

    • You have (demonstrable) experience with Data Modelling

    • You have an understanding of data management best practices ( DAMA)

    • You have the ability to lead stakeholder engagement sessions and detail and challenge data requirements

    • You have the knowledge of credit risk management in banking or financial institutions

    • You have knowledge of Basel regulatory compliance requirements. Knowledge of RWA calculations is a pre.
