    Your job

    You will join as Senior Risk Manager in a team responsible for managing various ESG-driven regulatory changes across the bank. You will analyze the impact of ESG regulations on current risk management processes, determine gaps, and collaborate with experts to efficiently meet regulatory compliance. Supported by a team of subject matter experts and project management professionals from across ABN AMRO, you play a vital role in assisting clients with their transition to a carbon-neutral economy.

    Working environment

    The team is part of the bank-wide Sustainable Finance Regulations (SFR) Programme, organized into four implementation offices with different focus areas like central risk, credit risk, data sourcing, and finance reporting. The role is within the Central Risk Implementation Office (CERIO), responsible for oversight and execution of change risk management throughout the bank's Risk Function for regulations like the ECB Climate Guide, CSRD, and ESG Risk CRR3/CRD6. The team ensures integrated roadmap, planning, and updates senior management committees on key challenges, dependencies, and risks. Your role falls under Central Risk Management (CRM) and as a Senior Risk Manager, you report to the Manager of the Central Risk Implementation Office (CERIO).

    Your profile

    Your profile should include:

    • Successful completion of higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (Msc.) with a minimum of 10 years relevant work experience
    • Affinity with Risk Management, Banking, and/or data
    • Proven track record in driving organizational change and project management skills
    • Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Dutch is a bonus)
