What will you be contributing to?
You will become part of Cloetta's Global Finance organization. The Accounts Receivable Accountant work closely with local AR Accounting team, Business Control, Customer Service and Sales, all located at Malmö.
As an Accounts Receivable Accountant, you will ensure that all routines and procedures of the accounts receivable process are handled carefully, efficiently and in a timely manner. You will represent Cloetta and work with a mindset of wanting to develop and comply with the implemented routines and challenge the way of work with the values of Cloetta in mind. You will report to the Global Finance Manager of Accounts Receivable & Payable who is based in Finland.
Your responsibility will be primary accounts receivable management for Cloetta's Sweden including the booking of bank statements. Additionally, you are responsible for period end accounts receivable & cash routines and collection actions. Furthermore, you will support development initiatives in Accounts Receivable area.
You will do so by mainly focusing on ensuring that accounts receivable routines are handled according to standards. You will handle everyday customer invoice routines such registration of payments and coordination of disputes to assure collection of receivables. You will also prepare credit reports of customers for credit limit decisions and support maintaining the right level of limits and manage order releases together with Sales, Customer Service and Business Control. You will follow up and solve issues in the Accounts Receivable area and handle customer queries related to invoices together with Customer Service and Sales.
You are responsible for the bank statement reconciliations on the daily bases to secure up to date and accurate bank account bookings.
You will prepare period end reconciliations of Accounts Receivable and Cash in due time ensuring the sub ledgers are accurate with no risk of doubtful amounts included regarding the receivable part.
You have acquired the following:
• 1-2 years working experience in relevant accounting
•Good understanding of ERP M3 system or similar and Microsoft Office
• Fluent written and spoken Swedish and English
