    DHL is the world's leading player in logistics services. The team consists of a diverse group of employees, both through employment agencies and directly employed by DHL.The DHL warehouse in Holtum, located in Sittard-Geleen (Limburg), serves various customers.

    Due to the limited accessibility by public transport, having your own transport is important. The location is easily accessible from Sittard-Geleen, Heerlen, Weert, Landgraaf, Brunssum and Roermond.

    DHL Holtum is looking for an enthusiastic logistics employee for a full-time job. Are you looking for a challenging role in logistics and do you like to have free weekends? Then this is your chance DHL is responsible for the complete logistics of various customers.

    You will process orders together with a close group of colleagues. The working hours are flexible: one week you work from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the next week from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. After 6:00 PM you will receive an evening surcharge. Before you start your shift, we always have a daily kick-off where we go over expectations for the day.You will work in the department assigned to you, where you can sort, pick, pack orders or work in the router department.

    If you do not yet have a forklift, reach truck, EPT or OPT certificate, but this is required for the position, that is no problem. At Olympia you get the opportunity to obtain these certificates free of charge.

    Functie-eisen
    • Availability Monday to Friday, full time.
    • Working hours vary between a shifted day shift of 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM and 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM.
    • Own transport is a requirement.
    • Speaking Dutch or English is important for safety reasons.
    • Experience with electric pallet trucks (EPT), order picking trucks (OPT), reach trucks and/or forklifts is desirable but not required.
    • No holiday plans from May 6 to July 28.
    Arbeidsvoorwaarden
    • The gross hourly wage varies between €13.27 and €13.47, depending on the certificates obtained.
    • You build up 10% holiday hours.
    • Receives 8.33% holiday pay.
    • From 6:00 PM a surcharge of 130% applies.
    • You can receive a maximum of €9.30 per day in travel expenses (for a single journey of 20 kilometers).
    • You start with a temporary contract through Olympia. If you perform well and there is sufficient work on location, an agreement from DHL is a possibility.
