    As an Integrator, you are integrating various electronics concepts and products in the field of safety systems, machine automation, embedded computers, analog devices, power amplifiers, sensors, encoders, electrical- and optical communication lines. With your skillset and a structured way of integration, you contribute to new machine developments with the aim of zero defects and no surprises when enabled at the ASML EUV products. You will work in close cooperation with other integrators, architects, but also gain a broad network within the company.

    Role and Responsibilities

    The Electrical Integrator is responsible for the following:

    • Operate as the Electronic Development representative in a multidisciplinary team;
    • Influence the definition and design of electronic developments on diagnostics, testability, manufacturability and reliability;
    • Make work breakdown and effort estimation for the integration of the various electronic products; specify and document the test requirements;
    • Design and document the qualification tools for integration purpose;
    • Execute experiments on test set-ups or prototypes to ensure the documented results meet the set requirements;
    • Work together with the EMC competence to tests on subsystem level;
    • With your early gained knowledge on system behavior, contribute in solving problems during full proto integration;
    • Transfer knowledge to production and service engineers and act as an expert (4th line support);
    • Analyze and solve reliability issues;
    Education and experience

    Bachelor degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.

    • Experience as integrator, test engineer or project engineer for electronic/electrical functions or industrial automation;
    • Broad technical knowledge of electronics with interest in physics, mechanics, and software;
    • Experience with thermal related electronics (thermo couples, heaters etc) or basic thermal principles is a plus;
    • Comfortable in using test- and measurement equipment;
    • Experience in Safety standards is a plus;
    • Experience with Python programming for test automation is a plus;
    • Experience with working in multidisciplinary design teams to establish agreement on specifications;
    • Previous and recent experience with ASML standards and Ways of Workings is highly appreciated, either as a former ASML employee or contractor.

    Other information

    The sector Development & Engineering (D&E) of ASML is responsible for the specification, design and realization of the products in the ASML portfolio. Within the sector D&E the cluster Electronic Development (EDEV) is responsible for the definition, realization, qualification and integration of electronic functions and modules within these products.

    Within EDEV EUV the group Laser Light Generation is responsible for the definition, realization, qualification and integration of electronic functions needed for a safe and reliable generation of laser light used in the EUV light generation process of the latest generation ASML machines.

    The Electrical Integrator reports to the Group Manager in Electronics EUV or delegated Team Leader of that group.

    This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
