The Job

Key Responsibilities:

• Policy Development: Draft, implement, and manage HSE policies and procedures to create a safe and compliant working environment.
• Audits and Assessments: Plan, execute, supervise, and coordinate internal audits and Risk Assessments (RI&Es) to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
• Risk Analysis: Conduct risk analyses, analyze trends, and provide recommendations to eliminate or mitigate risky aspects in the workplace.
• Support and Advice: Offer support and advice to management regarding HSE matters, contributing to a culture of safety and compliance.
• Incident Coordination: Supervise and coordinate accident and incident investigations, ensuring thorough analysis and appropriate corrective actions.

The Profile

• Completed HBO education in higher safety science or intermediate safety science with 1+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in English, with oral and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in monitoring deadlines.
• Effective prioritization and organizational skills.
• Affinity with drafting policies and translating complex policy and legal texts for both management and employees.
