Your impact at MUFG


You will be part of the Data Integrity Team (DI) within the Commercial Support Office will be supporting all aspects of maintaining and improving the client data quality within the organization and assisting other teams in implementing a global, data-led strategy.

You are responsible for identifying, inputting, profiling, reviewing, analyzing and managing the client data in different IT Systems.

You will work closely with the other sections of CSO (KYC, AML Sanctions, FI and QA) and other teams to ensure that all customer information is compliant with regulatory standards, to guarantee all data content is correct, up to date and complete.

Moreover, preparation of regular as well as on demand reports, lists and analyses is one of the key day-to-day activities.


You will also support miscellaneous projects and initiatives including but not limited to data collection, data remediation, process optimization and task transfers etc.


Function positioning
This function forms part of data management and integrity function within CSO, in First Line of Defense. The function is part of CSO DI team and focusses on client data.

The team is responsible for client data management and integrity, analysis, reporting, and reconciliation with regard to client data on behalf of Front Offices as data owners.


The DI Analyst is a member of the DI Team responsible for managing, inputting, controlling and profiling the client data coming from different first line departments of MBE.

This team acts as a single point of contact for all client data.


The role includes the following:


  • CIF (customer information file) opening, changes and closures
  • Customer account opening, changes and closures
  • Updates in core banking system OVS
  • Signature card handling
  • Support front offices in all client data related issues
  • Support regular and on demand reporting and statistics
  • Perform inter system reconciliations
  • Support DGS related activities
  • Contribute to projects when required
  • Monitoring and reviewing data that is entered into the systems, checking for completion and accuracy
  • Data cleansing identifying, assessing and resolving any data quality issues
  • Developing good relationships with users across the organization and interacting with them to resolve any data quality issues
  • Responsible for profiling data and performing adhoc data analyses
  • Support in developing data quality best practice guidelines
  • Addressing the root cause of data inconsistencies and recommending improvements
  • Ensuring that the business has access to complete and accurate client data to support decision making
