    Supply Chain Planner - Dorel Juvenile

As a supply chain planner at Dorel Juvenile in Helmond, your activities are focused on getting the right product at the right time, location and quantity. Against the lowest possible costs. Our production and assembly processes are mostly outsourced to different suppliers abroad.     This is what the position looks like:

    As a supply chain planner, you will strengthen our European Supply Chain team. You will have European responsibility for a part of the growing Asian product portfolio, involving multiple warehouses. In this role you will work with many direct international contacts, both European and intercontinental, coupled with a close-knit team of well-cooperating European planners. You order products to our European warehouses in line with contract agreements. How? In such a way that there will be an optimum between costs and availability of products (market needs). You take ownership of the complete ordering process, monitor delivery times, and communicate to internal and external stakeholders.

    You work with demand coordinators to secure availability of products per market. Besides that, providing suppliers on a regular basis with a forecast is also part of your job description. You contribute to a controlled regularly introduction and phase out products. And finally, you manage European inventory levels in such a way that demand, and availability are continuously in balance.     • This is a position of 32-40 hours per week, depending on your preferences.
    • Every month you will receive a gross salary between € 2,500 and € 3,500 (based on 40 hours a week and your knowledge and experience).
    • And you are eligible for a 13th month every year.
    • There is an option to work hybrid up to three days, with a minimum of two joint office days.
    • The annual leave entitlements consist of 28 vacation days in the case of full-time employment.
    • You get an extensive retirement plan.
    • Other terms include travel expenses, use of a laptop and telephone if required, option to purchase extra holiday hours, Bicycle Plan and collective health insurance.
    What to bring?
    • At least a bachelor's degree in supply chain/logistics.
    • Experience with working with people from different cultures in an international environment.
    • And experience in similar planning role(s) and working with ERP systems, M3 is a plus.
    • Excellent verbal and writing skills in English.
    • You like to work with numbers and make them talk. You are also analytical and good in problem solving.
    • Furthermore, you are pragmatic and hands-on.
    • You have the ability to keep the overview and filter the right information out of a large quantity of data, to be able to make the right choices.
